На пръв поглед, малкото градче Балестрино, изглежда идеално за отдих, разходка сред природата и тишина, която големият град не може да предостави. Само дето това китно градче, което изглеждаше така недокоснато от злото, криеше своите най-тъмни тайни. Хората изчезваха в гората, предполагайки се, че са отвлечени, но отново - без никакви доказателства. Нямаше нито кой да се обвини, нито какво да се направи. Някои посочваха с пръст укриващите се престъпници, но нищо не водеше към тях, изглежда напълно невинни. Други път смятаха, че присъстват някакви демонични, паранормални същества, които им причиняваха всичко това. Всеки сам избираше в какво да вярва.

-Добре.Знам,че не беше редно да го крия от теб,но какво можеше да направи.Та ти беше един баща в затвор Ейдриън,Никоя майка не би искала това за детето си,затова просто си тръгнах.Знам,че постъпих ужасно и сега най-вероятно ме мразиш,но тогава сметнах,че така ще бъде най-добре.Да го отгледам сама,да му бъда и майка и баща.Затова не ме обвинявай за каквото и да е защото и на мен не ми беше лесно.Кога съм гледала дете?Дори не знаех как да го държа,когато ми подадоха за първи път след раждането!
